Our client in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Lead High-Voltage Substation Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical substation projects ranging from 13kV to 765kV. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex power infrastructure projects while leading technical teams and collaborating with utility clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead substation engineering projects from design through construction.
  • Develop and review high-voltage substation designs, calculations, and technical specifications.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Conduct field inspections and provide technical guidance to project teams.
  • Collaborate with clients and support proposal development for new projects.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 7+ years of high-voltage substation engineering experience.
  • Experience with 13kV–765kV substation design and power delivery projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IEEE, NESC, and utility standards.
  • Proven project leadership and client-facing experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
